Planning to be away for a few days or longer? Let us care for your best friend and include a daily training lesson during their stay. We can introduce new skills or reinforce and polish your dog’s current education. Please schedule a phone consultation to confirm date availability and to discuss your training goals. For new clients, we REQUIRE an in-person assessment before boarding.

Need a quiet, private place for your dog to stay? If your dog gets stressed in big, noisy kennels, we offer a home-based boarding with a large yard, daily walks, and playtime with our dogs. We provide private kennels and quiet yard time for dogs that don’t do well with others. As a former vet tech of 18 years, I can give medications, injections, and hand-walk dogs recovering from surgery at no extra charge. Our daily rate covers any special care your dog needs.

This one-week (Monday–Friday), one-hour-per-day program is designed for puppies ages 12 weeks to 5 months. Your puppy will learn essential foundation skills: down and sustained place, touch cue (recall), loose-leash walking, and the cues leave it and drop it. You and your puppy will be the sole students with our trainer during their one-hour daily lesson, receiving focused attention and individualized instruction at our training space near Pine Junction.

This program includes 5 one hour lessons, harness and leash and our complete client training handouts.

This is a two-week program (10 training days) in which our trainer visits your home each weekday at a scheduled time for one hour. They will work with your pet in your home environment and also take them on supervised outings to nearby parks and dog-friendly public spaces. Over the course of the program your dog will receive 10 one-hour lessons (a total of 10 hours of focused training). Equipment provided includes a properly fitted harness for your dog, a 12-foot double leash, and our comprehensive client handout.

Start your training journey with our convenient 3-lesson package, which includes all the suggested training equipment to get you off on the right foot. It’s ideal for building foundational skills like loose-leash walking, reliable recall, and stay/place, and it also addresses common behavior modification needs such as Leave it, Off, or Drop it.

In six lessons we can cover up to two foundational skills, such as loose-leash walking, Place/Stay, reliable recall (come when called), settling in public using a Place cue, or Leave It (often paired with loose-leash walking). We can also work on common behavior modification issues, including leash-pulling, jumping on guests or household members, and overexcited behaviors like excessive barking at visitors.
